Sourdough Workshop & Merenda

Join us for a hands-on sourdough bread baking workshop where you’ll dive into the world of breadmaking and sourdough. Learn to create and maintain your own sourdough starter, adapt it to your taste, and bake delicious loaves. Meet Your Host

My partner once suggested to buy a dough mixer since I bake so much bread. I happily declined. I just fell in love with the whole process – a love for feeling the flour in my hands, sensing how the dough changes texture during kneading, smelling the subtle changes in aroma while the loafs are proofing, excitedly putting it in the oven, observing it while it rises and enjoying the unique smells that begin to fill the whole house for at least this day. There is also the love for experimenting with different traditional forms and flavors of sourdoughs, and sharing the joy and nurture of a good, slow, freshly baked loaf of bread with the people around me. As passionate I am about bread itself, as passionate I am to share the knowledge you need to experience all this yourself at home!
